The AI for Humanity Lab and CISAT have hosted hands-on hackathon experiences that bring together ethical AI, collaboration, and real-world problem solving at Claremont Graduate University.

The upcoming third edition will continue the lab’s focus on ethical, human-centered innovation and interdisciplinary teamwork.
2nd Edition — CGU Hacks 2025
Date: November 14–15, 2025
The second edition expanded into a two-day transdisciplinary hackathon with workshops, mentoring, and tracks including AI, GeoAI, cybersecurity, and UI/UX design.

The first 2025 edition focused on ethical, fair, and socially responsible artificial intelligence and brought together participants to build AI solutions grounded in ethics, fairness, and transparency.
