There is no time to waste: The Center has been involved in several startup activities—including an evaluation of United States Agency for International Development’s Ebola Response and development of a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework with metrics for the SDG Philanthropy Platform funded by the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. These activities point directly to evaluation’s public- and private-sector impact.
The Center has forged critical partnership agreements with leading global organizations, including the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG), and the Rockefeller Foundation.
CEC-NY is now exploring partnerships with universities and change agents from the Global South. These partnerships will ensure a vehicle to strengthen executive leadership in evaluation in developing countries and help those countries foster the skills to track their own progress in achieving the SDGs.
Building on this momentum, the faculty is committed to cultivating several vital groups of stakeholders—UN leadership, the global evaluation community, impact investors, innovators, private-sector leaders, and more—to position CEC-NY as the world’s premier SDG evaluation center.
