As part of the Claremont Evaluation Center (CEC), Dr. Tarek Azzam’s Evaluation Research and Practice (ERP) Lab takes a dual approach to improving evaluation practice by providing high quality evaluations and researching best practices. Rooted in a rigorous methodological approach, the ERP Lab provides tailored and comprehensive evaluations with an emphasis on utility of findings. The lab’s active agenda on evaluation projects is supplemented by a keen interest in how evaluation is practiced and implemented, including:
- The context in which evaluation is practiced
- How data are collected
- Rigorous and innovate analysis of data
- How evaluation results are delivered and displayed
The lab’s practice spans the scope of evaluation services and projects across a wide range of industries including the nonprofit, for-profit, and government sectors. Globally and across the United States, the lab has conducted several mixed-methods multi-year evaluations. The ERP Lab brings together a diverse group of highly trained evaluation practitioners and researchers, seeking to advance the field of evaluation and provide a value-rich service to their clients.
