International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) Evaluation

A four-year evaluation examining the implementation and impact of the International Baccalaureate’s MYP: Next chapter curriculum. This multi-site evaluation explores MYP implementation and performance across more than 50 countries. Includes implementation evaluation; multi-year performance monitoring; outcome evaluation and multiple case study analysis.

UC Irvine DECADE PLUS Program Evaluation

A multi-year evaluation utilizing an experimental design to test the impact of the Diverse Educational Community and Doctoral Experience: Partnering in Leadership for Undergraduate Students (DECADE PLUS) program at the University of California–Irvine. This mixed-methods evaluation is focused on various student achievement outcomes, including: student retention, leadership, and mentorship.

UC Riverside Dynamic Genome Program Evaluation

A 5-year mixed methods evaluation of the Dynamic Genome (DG) Program which is a higher education science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at the University of California, Riverside. The DG program was awarded funds from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute with the goal of expanding the institutional capacity of pre-established UCR student success programs and first year learning communities. The aim of these programs is to build a pipeline of qualified STEM majors with completed degrees and are in pursuit of a graduate degree or a STEM related career.

Cal State University-San Bernardino: CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS)

In its third funding cycle, the SFS program is a two-year federally funded scholarship program developed to increase the number of qualified university graduates in the field of cyber security. Evaluative measures include implementation of program components, utility, environment, and dedication to public service.

Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) in Centinela Valley: LA County DHS/YMCA

A process and outcome evaluation of a CDC community based diabetes prevention program seeking to understand its effectiveness in the safety net population of East Los Angeles compared to other locations. In addition to assessing biometric measures and locus of control in the prevention of diabetes in at risk populations, the evaluation looks at barriers to recruiting and implementation.

Rio Hondo Alternative Fuels and Advanced Transportation Technologies Program

Located on the campus of Rio Hondo College in Whittier California, this innovate automotive program is focused on the development of skilled automotive technicians with a specialization in up and coming trends in transportation, such as alternative fuels, hydrogen fuel cells, and other advanced automotive technologies. The mixed methods evaluation of the program is being conducted to understand the current state and outcomes of the program including student, faculty and administration experiences.
