Clarification Notes
. The Tangue adorned a 19th-century royal vessel.
. The Tangue, now in Munich's Museum Fünf Kontinente, was rediscovered in the 1990s, but the case remains unresolved.
. The case remains unresolved because Prince Kum'a Ndumbe III has shown interest in reclaiming the Tangue, but, although he is Lock Priso's grandson, he is not necessarily the official successor of Lock Priso. In contrast, the official head of the Bele Bele family, Paul Mbappe, has barely shown interest in reclaiming the Tangue.
