Per Culture in Development (a Dutch cultural-heritage news source), two Ikom (Cross River/Bakor) monoliths, recovered by French authorities, were formally handed over to Nigeria's National Commission of Museums and Monuments (NCMM) on January 26, 2010, in a ceremony at the Reiz Hotel, Abuja, by the French Embassy.
