Project Overview

This project will explore the perspectives of Black fathers regarding their engagement in maternal and child health (MCH) services during the prenatal and early parenting periods. The goal is to better understand how Black fathers perceive their role in maternal and child health, as well as the factors that influence their participation in services such as prenatal care, parenting programs, and family support initiatives.  The student will conduct a systematic or integrative literature review to examine existing research on Black fathers’ perspectives, experiences, and perceived barriers or facilitators to engagement in maternal and child health services.
