Well, Sara, I like I told you, the best decision of my life was to accept the Gospel because from that moment forward my life began to change; I started to see things from a totally different perspective. In me there were roots of being part of calling a family, but my family itself was totally different. It changed my life in terms of being a different parent than how I was before.

The church taught me to love my family much more; to give more importance to the family. I always submitted myself to the counsel that existed within the church. For example, for me Fridays in the world were “Singleness Friday,” as in I would go out to have a good time in my own way away from my wife and family.

But with my wife Fridays were done justly. So things changed. I dedicated Fridays to my wife. This was the difference from what I use to do in the world. I also saw, Sara, the importance through family nights the importance of the family.

The first goal I set at that time was to go to a temple and get sealed because I precisely saw the importance of being an eternal family. In the world you don’t think that way. I think that the man is much more macho. The man only thinks about himself and not so much about his family. In the church it is totally different. So that opened up my eyes much more. And well, we strived, worked, and prepared to be able to go on that journey to the temple. So, Sara, that is the difference between the worldly man and the man of the church… for me.
