Founded in 2020 at Claremont Graduate University’s School of Community, the Community Health Innovation Learning Lab (CHILLab) utilizes data-driven, evidence-based approaches to conduct comprehensive evaluation.

Our work engages and empowers students, alumni, faculty, public health professionals, and community partners to promote and implement inclusive and culturally responsive evaluation practices in public health (e.g., study design, survey instrument development, data management, statistical analysis, program/project evaluation).

CHILLab creates innovative solutions to support the public health workforce. CHILLab’s current projects focus on public health workforce development, promoting health equity, and improving culturally responsive evaluation practices in public health.

Vision

A public health workforce that is highly skilled, diverse, and culturally responsive.
