But you see, let me tell you, I am a Kikuyu. But you see, the gospel of Jesus Christ goes the same way. When you see what we do in the temple work, in the Kikuyu culture, what they say is what the gospel says about ancestors. We go together like this.

In the Kikuyu language, we know the people who have died still live again. Others say that if you die, that is the end of you. But for our culture, in Kikuyu we say ngoma [ancestors], ngoma ni ngomi [ancestors are the eternally sleeping ones]. So the people who died are still living in the spirit world.

We believe that those people that went can come and give you a message. The other day I was telling my brother I have realized our culture and the Church of Jesus Christ are going together like this.
