It is true that all the Twelve Apostles are white. That there are very few black people at the Seventies. I believe that one day we will have a black prophet. We just have to be patient and wait. Being a prophet is a calling from God. When the right time will come, God will choose a black prophet but for now we have to accept a white American as our prophet.

LDS people obey and live the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are [parts of] Malagasy culture that LDS people can’t ignore even though the church forbids it.

For example, to go to a funeral with our churchmate and decide where to find the money to give to the mourning family who are members of the church. The LDS church in Madagascar doesn’t have funds for this kind thing so members try to find another way to earn money. It is important to Malagasy people (member or not member) to gather and to help one another during happiness or sadness. Even though the LDS church doesn’t give funds, members continue to maintain this excellent Malagasy culture.
