Well, I guess I can’t speak for everybody, because each one of us is different and has a different experience, but I think a worldwide thing is pay. Pay and equality in the workplace and recognition of women in politics and everything, in the workplace and even in religion.


I guess when you get married everyone thinks you have to stay at home and take care of your children, and that has an impact on you financially because do you stay at home and look after your children or do you go to work and people think, “oh, you’re leaving them behind!” So, you have either reduced work, or you are seen as abandoning your children and your family, and so it’s a fight between family and economic independence.
