I work in academia as the head of the Spanish language department and I’m currently teaching first-year Spanish. It’s really fun and I’m enjoying it as I get to impart my knowledge onto others and the students seem to have fun and really want to come to class. I like to help out in the community when I can, but I really don’t have the time right now. As for politics, I’m not really involved or interested in it.

I think I’ve done so far what I’ve wanted to do. I would have liked to travel more when I was studying, as once you get older, work becomes a priority and it’s really hard to just let work go for a few days because people are always emailing you about this and that while you’re on holiday, especially when you’re the head of Spanish. You’re always, always answering emails. So, if you’re young and able to do it. I mean, looking at what I could have done differently or didn’t go to plan, I guess no…in the sense that I never thought that at such a young age I’d become the head of Spanish.
