After that happened, two more months passed. This was in August. In November, I was washing clothes and I remember three men dressed in white with ties, came walking by and it drew my attention. But I didn’t think it was very important. Two minutes later, they were in front of my house and they said, “Hello sister. We would like to speak with you.” And I asked them, “Which church are you with?” And they told me, “The Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints.” “What?” I told them, “You are from the Church of Jesus Christ. I want to know if it’s true, and I want you to tell me something. I want to know the truth. Do you believe in Jesus Christ?” “Yes,” they replied. “In prophecies?” “Yes, sister.” “In revelations?” “Yes, sister.” “In miracles?” “If I tell you something, I want you to give me an answer.” And so, I told them the story that I told you had happened to me earlier. And so then, they began to cry, and they told me, “Sister, we can’t give you an answer. Only God can do that. You have to pray so that you can ask. But if you want, we can visit you again.” And I said, “No! I don’t want you to visit me, because I am an Evangelical. I only want a response.”
I was angry and confused. But then I began to have another dream. But this one was a dream, not like the first time. And I saw a ship. A ship that was full of people that were dressed the same. The ship was in the middle of a storm, but those who were inside were confident. And I asked, “What church is this?” “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints,” and the people were very happy, but I was still confused. The elders started to come the following day and they started to explain the restoration and who was authority. So, then I began to talk to them. But I was uncomfortable because I was confused. I told them, “You people cannot come and give me the doctrine that I know, because I only know Jesus Christ.” And they explained to me, “You can have all the knowledge, but you need to know something more. Why did the Lord reveal this to you? Only he can give you an answer.” And it was true. I was so confused that I stopped going to the other church. My ex-pastors told me, “Sister, no, that isn’t true.” And so, I said, “But what happened was real and it has to be what happened to me because it was true.”
