Megan is a PhD student in applied social psychology with a passion for social justice issues with the aim of bringing scientific research and evaluation to bear on policy. Megan has worked on multiple education-related evaluations and helps manage a Department of Defense funded project aimed at improving the experiences of active-duty service members. Her current research focuses on prosocial engagement and community building with the hope that in better understanding how we come together as people we can do work to break-down psychological boundaries and make the world a better place. She is building on this research and policy interests through service as the current President of the Queer Graduate Union of the Claremont Colleges and as a member of CGU’s diversity and inclusion committee. Megan also teaches at Scripps and Claremont McKenna Colleges.
