Nina Sabarre has eight years of experience in evaluation and mixed-methods research in over 25 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central America, and North America. She has worked on a wide variety of projects for clients ranging from USAID, to World Bank, U.S. State Department, Facebook, Los Angeles Police Department, Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, and academic institutions. In the lab, she is currently working an experimental evaluation of University of California Irvine’s DECADE PLUS program, which is an undergraduate mentoring program for UCI’s Chancellor’s Excellence Scholars. Her doctoral research focuses on the evaluation of cross-sector partnerships among businesses, nonprofits, and governments to affect social change. She is also working in Tarek’s lab conducting research on data visualization.

Nina earned a Master’s degree in Political Science and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from Virginia Tech, as well as a graduate certificate in Program Monitoring and Evaluation from American University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Evaluation and Applied Research.
