Sarah has an MA in Evaluation and Applied Research Methods from Claremont Graduate University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. She also has an MA in Development Studies from the University of New South Wales, a Graduate Diploma in Early Years Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Queensland.

Over the past 10 years she has conducted research and evaluation projects across a wide range of national and international development contexts, including in Afghanistan, East Timor, Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia.

Sarah currently works as a Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of Melbourne where she teaches classes on Quantitative Methods and Mixed Methods as part of their Masters of Evaluation. She has provided workshops and seminars on evaluation methods for the Australasian Evaluation Society, delivered training and capacity building on evaluation methods for Australian and international non-profit organisations, and leads evaluations in support of decision making and learning.
